I.Use of Cookies

A cookie is a file stored by a server on the User’s computer that allows the collection of the User’s navigation data: some are necessary because they facilitate navigation, while others are used to gather information about the User for targeted advertising.

Cookies can be “third-party” or “internal” (first-party):

  • “Internal” (First-party) cookies are deposited by the Site consulted by the User, specifically on the Site’s domain. They can be used for the proper functioning of the Site or to collect personal data to track User behavior and serve advertising purposes;
  • “Third-party” cookies are cookies deposited on domains different from that of the main Site, generally managed by third parties who have been queried by the visited Site and not by the User themself: these cookies may also be necessary for the proper functioning of the Site but are mainly used to allow the third party to see which pages on the Site in question have been visited by the User and to collect information about them, particularly for advertising purposes.

Managing cookies via the management module:

When a User visits the Site for the first time, a web banner appears on the page. The banner informs the User that IFO, a SARL (limited liability company) with a share capital of 1,500,000 euros, whose registered office is located at L’Anguicherie, 49140 Seiches sur le Loir, France, registered with the Angers RCS (Trade and Companies Register) under number 380 317 610, uses cookies and that IFO links the User to this page.

The Axeptio banner allows the User to choose which cookies they wish to accept and which they wish to refuse on the Site.

Axeptio is a reliable and secure Consent Management Platform (CMP), which allows the User to easily accept or revoke their consent to cookies on the Site.

To accept or revoke cookie consent on the Site, the User must follow the following steps:

  • Cookie Banner: When a User arrives on the Site managed by Axeptio, they see a cookie banner that offers them the option to accept or refuse cookies. This banner is designed to comply with cookie regulations, such as the GDPR. The User can click on the proposed options to accept or refuse cookies.
  • Accepting Cookies: If a User wishes to accept cookies, they click on the appropriate option in the cookie banner. Once they have accepted the cookies, Axeptio records their consent on the Site and stores this information in an online database.
  • Revoking Consent: If a User wishes to revoke their consent later, they can do so by accessing their Web browser settings. They should look for privacy or cookie options in their browser settings and follow the instructions to revoke their consent.

Managing cookies via the browser software:

A User can configure their browser software so that cookies are stored on their computer (or portable device, tablet, etc.) or that they are rejected: either systematically or according to their issuer.

The User is informed that they can object to the recording of these cookies by configuring their browser software. For information, the User can find the steps to follow to configure their browser software to object to the recording of cookies at the following addresses:

In the event that a User decides to disable cookies, they may continue browsing the Site. However, any malfunction of the Site caused by this manipulation could not be considered the fault of the site editor.

II.Cookies strictly necessary for the site to function

These “necessary” cookies allow the main services of the Site to function optimally. A User can technically block them using their browser settings, but the experience on the Site may be degraded.

These cookies allow, in particular, to recognize a User, to signal their passage on a specific page, and thus improve their browsing comfort: adapting the presentation of the Site to the display preferences of their device (language used, display resolution), remembering passwords and other information relating to a form that the User has filled out on the Site. They also allow security measures to be implemented.

These cookies cannot be disabled or configured, otherwise, access to the Site and/or the Site’s services may no longer be possible.

Only the issuer of the cookie concerned is likely to read or modify the information contained therein.

Technical cookies are necessary for navigating our site, as well as accessing the various products and services.

There are different types of cookies:

Editor Name Cookie Name Function / Purpose Retention Period
Axeptio axeptio_cookies Memorization of the user’s consent choices regarding cookies 190 days (approx. 6 months)
Axeptio axeptio_all_vendors List of all cookie vendors authorized on the site 190 days (approx. 6 months)
Axeptio axeptio_authorized_vendors List of cookie vendors specifically authorized by the user 190 days (approx. 6 months)
Polylang pll_language Memorization of the language chosen by the user (French/English) 1 year

III.Audience Measurement Cookies

Audience measurement cookies are issued by IFO or by its technical service providers for the purposes of measuring the audience of the various content and sections of the Site, in order to evaluate and better organize them.

These cookies also allow, where appropriate, the detection of navigation problems and consequently the improvement of the ergonomics of IFO’s services.

These cookies only produce anonymous statistics and traffic volumes, excluding any individual information. They are therefore not personal data. The lifespan of these audience measurement cookies does not exceed 13 months.

Furthermore, a User has the possibility to object to the use of audience measurement trackers strictly necessary for the operation and routine administration of the Site in the cookie management window located at the bottom left of each page of the Site.

Editor Name Cookie Name Function / Purpose Retention Period
Matomo _pk_id.35.b695 Unique identification of the user for visit statistics 13 months
Matomo _pk_ref.35.b695 Attribution of the user’s traffic source (referrer) 6 months
Matomo _pk_ses.35.b695 Identification of the user’s current session 30 minutes
Matomo mtm_cookie_consent Recording of user consent for Matomo tracking 13 months

Important Note: The site uses Matomo (formerly Piwik), an audience analysis solution that respects privacy. Unlike other tools, Matomo allows statistics to be collected while respecting user confidentiality. The data collected is anonymized and is not shared with third parties. Matomo complies with the GDPR and can be used without prior consent when configured appropriately (IP anonymization, limited duration, etc.).
